Fun fact: In 2015, Volkswagon was caught cheating US emissions testing and had to rebuy all its affected cars. "Dieselgate" led to an auto boneyard of over 300,000 VWs and Audis baking in the Mojave Desert, like the backdrop to a real life Mad Max dystopian landscape.
